Collabortative zine
2019
can i have a cup of sugar zine is a collaboration between Graphic Design students at Massachusetts College of Art + Design and Simmons University. Though part of the same neighborhood and Colleges of Fenway consortium, the paths of these students rarely intersect. Students convened at MassArt on October 24, 2019 to brainstorm, sketch, conceptualize, connect, and reflect on their proximity, what it means to be “neighbors.” To further support the narrative, students at Boston University graciously invited the zine into their space for distribution at the 2019 Boston Art Book Fair. This project was developed by professors Joshua Duttweiler, Simmons University and Kristen Mallia, Massachusetts College of Art + Design.
